GRX Immersive Lab’s work with insitutions within the HBCU Program aims to provide a a legitimate platform & space of creative freedom for the next generation of creative entrepreneurs.
Students at Florida A&M University are taught, trained, and positioned in environments that enabled them to utilize their skillsets as creators & storytellers with rising immersive technologies like Virtual Reality & Augmented reality.
Through our collaboration with The Knight Foundation, the students at FAMU School of Journalism & Graphic Communication were given an authentic experience creating through Immersive Technology & are in a better position to take on new challeneges that arise in the creative economy.
Virtual Reality Workshops Centered Around Growth, Creative Freedom, & Immersive Storytelling
Teaming up with The Knight Foundation & LMichelle Media, our virtual reality workshop aimed to provide exposure & training into immersive technology like virtual reality & augmented reality.
Students gained valuable skills and learned to develop immersive content without needing coding skills. Our industry experts walked students from conceptualizing ideas to capturing and creating through virtual reality productions & viewing them in 360 format & VR Headsets.
Whether students are aspiring journalists, writers, artists, designers, or filmmakers, our virtual reality workshops are aimed to train & prepare them to tackle any creative challenge that may arise in the everchanging creative & technological landscape.
